01Who we are
Pawify (“Pawify”, “we”, “us”) is a pet care app for dogs and cats, operated by [LEGAL NAME OF OPERATOR], an independent developer. For the purposes of data protection law, we are the controller of the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at hello [at] pawify.co.
This policy applies to the Pawify mobile apps and the website at pawify.co (together, the “Service”).
02Information we collect

Information collected automatically
- Location — only while you use the app and only if you allow it: approximate location to show nearby pet-friendly places and walk weather, and the location you attach to a walk reminder. We never track location in the background.
- Device identifiers — a push notification token so we can deliver reminders to your device.
- In-app activity — actions such as completed reminders, check-ins and tips opened, used to power your Rewards progress and badges.
- Purchases — your subscription status and purchase history. Payments are handled by Apple or Google; we never see your card details.
03How we use your information
- To provide the Service: create your account, store pet profiles and records, send reminders and show your health score.
- To run AI health scans and generate reports you request.
- To enable Family Access and send invitation emails on your behalf.
- To manage subscriptions and unlock Premium features.
- To keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and fix problems.
- To reply when you contact us.
Our legal bases are performance of our contract with you, your consent (for example, location and notifications, which you can withdraw in your device settings), and our legitimate interest in keeping the Service secure and working well. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to anyone.
04AI health scans
When you start a scan, the photos you take and basic pet details (such as species, breed and age) are sent securely through our servers to our AI provider to generate a visual assessment. Our provider processes this data on our behalf to produce the result and does not use it to train its models under our agreement. We store the scan result in your account so you can compare scans over time.
05Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run Pawify, and only as needed for the task:

We may also disclose information if required by law, or to protect the rights, safety and property of our users or others.
06Family Access
If you invite someone to a pet, they can see that pet’s information according to the permissions you set (notifications, health data and AI reports). You can change permissions or remove access at any time. If you accept an invitation, the pet’s owner can see your name and email address.
07International transfers
Our primary database is hosted in Singapore, and some providers process data in other countries, including the United States. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses to protect your data when it is transferred.
08Retention & deletion
We keep your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Edit profile → Delete account. This permanently removes your profile, pets, records and photos from our systems, except where we must keep limited information to meet legal obligations. Backups are overwritten within [BACKUP RETENTION PERIOD].
09Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example under the GDPR, UK GDPR or Turkey’s KVKK), you may have the right to:
- access the personal data we hold about you and receive a copy;
- correct inaccurate data — most of it you can edit directly in the app;
- delete your data;
- restrict or object to certain processing;
- withdraw consent at any time;
- lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

10Security
Data is encrypted in transit, access is restricted by row-level security so each account can only reach its own records and the pets shared with it, and AI requests are routed through our own servers rather than from your device directly. No system is perfectly secure, but we work hard to protect your information.
11Children
Pawify is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
12Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Pawify evolves. If we make significant changes, we will let you know in the app or by email before they take effect. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
